David Deejay
Cunoscut ca cel mai popular DJ roman din Europa Centrala si de Est, David Dj este, de asemenea, si unul dintre cei mai buni producatori si compozitori romani.
Nascut la Barlad (10 decembrie 1980), David Dj s-a mutat la Bucuresti in 2003 unde a coloborat cu producatori locali (MOF Records, Gala Records) pana in 2008 cand si-a infiintat propriul studio DAV7 Music.
MOF Records a fost primul studio profesional in care a lucrat si a devenit cunoscut ca si compozitor (2004-2006). In acea perioada a inregistrat primul sau succes cu productia piesei “Sufletul meu”, interpretata de Delia. Au urmat “Razna” – HiQ, “Strada mea” – TNT etc.
In timp ce lucra la Gala Records (2006-2008), a colaborat indeaproape cu Laurentiu Duta (co -proprietar al studioului in acea perioada) si au produs impreuna unul dintre cele mai mari succese 3SE – “Iubire”. A colaborat si la realizarea pieselor DJ Project – “Inca o noapte” si “Lacrimi de inger”. Recunoasterea sa ca producator international a venit odata cu productia pieselor trupei Akcent: “Jokero”, “French kiss” si “King of Disco”. “Jokero” a fost cel mai difuzat cantec in Romania in anul 2006. Marius Nedelcu (ex-Akcent) a avut succes colaborand cu David Dj la piesa sa de debut “Rain”, piesa ce a urcat pe locul 1 in topurile romanesti.
Anul 2008 l-a gasit pe David Dj in propriul sau studio, DAV7 Music, unde a produs hitul international “Sexy Thing”, in colaborare cu Dony. Piesa a revolutionat muzica romaneasca creand stilul Popcorn, abordare muzicala ce a predominat in muzica romaneasca din ultimii ani. El a continuat colaborarea cu Dony realizand un intreg album, numit bineinteles, “Popcorn”. Cantecele promovate de pe acest album: “Sexy thing”, “Nasty dream”, “So bizarre” si “Temptation” au fost numarul 1 in Romania si au cucerit topurile si in alte tari. Doi ani la rand (2008, 2009) David Dj a fost cel mai difuzat arist din Romania.
A primit premiul special “Trend Setter Award” la RMA 2009 pentru meritul sau in aduceream unui nou sound in muzica dance-house europeana. La editia RMA din anul urmator, 2010, a primit premiile “Cel mai bun producator” si “ Cel mai bun DJ”. In plus a fost recompensat cu “Best see dance track” la South-East European Music Event 2010, pentru hitul “So Bizzare”, featuring Dony.
Ca DJ cu experienta, David Dj iubeste si simte foarte bine muzica house. Astfel ii este usor sa inteleaga perfect conexiunea dintre lucrul in studio, muzica de club si publicul sau. Anii petrecuti mixand in cluburi l-au ajutat sa dezvolte o perceptie foarte buna cu privire la ce fel de ritmuri se reactioneaza cel mai bine in cluburi. Foarte des, el a mixat demo-uri la piesele sale ca test, in cluburi, pentru a vedea reactia publicului la prima mana. Prin urmare, toate hit-urile lui “au trecut” testul clubului inainte
de a fi lansate. David a mixat in cele mai cunoscute cluburi din Romania si Europa si este singurul dj roman invitat sa mixeze in Australia
Munca sa ca producator a fost recunoscuta pe plan international incepand cu 2006, cand a co-produs super hit-urile Akcent: “Jokero” si “French Kiss”. Dupa ce si-a infiintat propriul sau studio, David Dj a devenit si mai productiv lansand mai multe proiecte cu succes international in doar cativa ani: David Deejay feat. Dony, Ela Rose, Mossano, Morris. Cantecele produse de el au fost licentiate in Albania, Australia, Belgia, Bulgaria, China, Cipru, Franta (+ Dom Tom), Grecia, Israel, Italia, Japonia, Luxemburg, Monaco, Olanda, Polonia, Portugalia, Rusia + CSI, Scandinavia, Taiwan , Turcia, Marea Britanie si Irlanda; tot continentul american, Orientul Mijlociu si Asia de Sud.

DAVID DEEJAY
Known as the most popular Romanian DJ across Eastern Europe and Middle East, David Deejay is also the hottest Romanian producer and songwriter.
Born in Barlad, Romania (on December 10th, 1980), David Deejay moved to Bucharest in 2003 where he worked with several local producers (MOF Records, Gala Records) where he was responsible for the success of many biggest hits, until 2008 when he starts his own studio, *DAV7 Music*.
The year 2008 found David Deejay in his own studio, DAV7 Music, where he produced the worldwide hit-single “Sexy thing”, a featuring with Dony. The smash hit single “Sexy thing”, revolutionized the sound of techno-dance music in Romania and across Europe giving birth to the so-called musical style Popcorn.
The promoted singles from this album “Sexy thing”, “Nasty dream”, “So bizzare” and “Temptation” went straight to number 1 in Romanian charts and performed well in other countries. For two years in a row (2008 – 2009), David Deejay was the most air played Romanian artist in Romanian Top 100. He was awarded the prestigious “Trend Setter Award” at the Romanian Music Awards in 2009, in recognition of his merits in terms of changing the house sound in Europe. The following year, 2010, he received “Best Producer Award” and “Best DJ Award” at the Romanian Music Awards.In addition to those, David Deejay was awarded the “Best see dance track” at South-East European Music Event 2010, with “So bizzare” hit.
As an experienced *DJ*, he has a very intuitive nature and love for the house music. This made it easy for him to understand perfectly the connection between working in studio, the club music and his audience. The years spent mixing in clubs helped him develop a very strong perception of what kind of rhythms people react best in clubs. Very often he played his demo tracks in clubs, as a test, in order to receive firsthand the public’s reaction. Therefore, all his hits “passed” the club test before being released. He played and mixed in the biggest clubs from Romania, Europe and he is the only Romanian DJ invited to mix in Australia.
His work as *producer* was recognized internationally starting in 2006 when he co-produced Akcent’s smashing hits: “Jokero” and “French Kiss”. Once he set up his own studio he became more productive as he released several projects with international success in just a couple of years: David Deejay feat. Dony, Ela Rose, Mossano, Morris. The songs he produced were licensed in countries like Albany, Australia, Belgium, Bulgaria, China, Cyprus, France (+ Dom Tom), Greece, Israel, Italy, Japan, Luxemburg, Monaco, Holland, Poland, Portugal, Russia + CIS, Scandinavia, Turkey, UK & Eire; whole American Continent, Middle East and Southern Asia.
So far David DJ’s work as a producer has made a big impact in music which resulted in gigs all over the world as *DAV7 Music* became more than a studio. It` s also a management agency for David himself and the artists he produces. DAV7 Music manages and promotes them in Romania and internationally.
